Sonny is a sensitive storyteller, raised on Springsteen and influenced by contemporary folk artists such as Gregory Alan Isakov and Bon Iver. Her music, shaped by nature, poetry, and her deep affinity for words, explores themes of love, loss and loneliness.\n\nIn 2020, Sonny crowdfunded her debut EP ‘Phoebe’. The following year, she released ‘Phoebe’ and sold out her debut headline show. In 2022, she toured Ireland and Germany, opening for Mick Flannery and sharing stages with Liam Ó Maonlaí.\n\nAfter the success of her debut EP, she recorded her debut album in an attic by the sea, in the depths of winter.
