⚡️ Salvage My Dream - is the long-running lo-fi / indie-folk project of British songwriter Robin Fisher (Scar Polish, Fluffy Maybes), now based in Berlin. With releases dating back to 2007, the project returns after a 10-year hiatus, marking his first live performances in over a decade. The songs lean into imperfection, capturing half-formed thoughts, memory loops, and fragments of conversation through raw, stream-of-consciousness lyrics, shaped by DIY recording aesthetics, ’90s indie nostalgia, and dusty folk records. For fans of The Microphones, Red House Painters, Jeffrey Lewis, Modest Mouse.

“Robin Fisher’s multi-layered lo-fi can completely beguile or utterly animate.” – Leeds Guide “Soulful lo-fi beauty from a very talented young man. Dense instrumentation with poetic, hushed vocals create the unique sound of Salvage My Dream” – Unquiet Desperation “Northerner Robin Fisher is a Bandcamp discovery that records under the name Salvage My Dream. He represents everything that is bizarre and grotesque about today’s music world. He has recorded a beautiful and conceptual album of irregular rhythms, unimaginable melodies and inspired samples. It is titled “Cats of Ashes”. This record should be available through some trend-setter of a label, in cosy shops, on some kind of gatefold LP that whinging teenagers and wise adults will leave the house to buy and love.” – Gold Flake Paint “It’s music that is accessible anywhere at anytime, and will fit into your mood: good or bad or happy or sad, it speaks to each of us in ways only good, inspired music can.” – Dead Press “The first thing you’ll probably notice in the music of Salvage My Dream is just how much seems to be going on in each track. Each one has energy and movement suggesting a band of four, maybe five members who have spent countless insomnia-riddled hours heading towards the same light at the end of the longest tunnel imaginable. Fisher has been working at this music for quite some time. You can tell. You can almost imagine the casually vivid ‘Stuck in the Goddamn Limbo’ coming about only because someone melted the door to the studio shut. No one was allowed to come out until some beautifully stated, quietly soulful lyrics could match up to a sound that brings to mind the best of Low or even some of Joy Division’s lesser-appreciated tracks. Put together, all three songs suggest a strong musical maturity and a clear idea of what needs to be said.” – Unlikely Stories “Inventive, surprising, and with each note pitched to perfection, Salvage My Dream’s first E.P is a quiet masterwork. I advise you to listen to it very early in the morning.” – Jay Lawrance, Rhubarb Bomb “Another great collection from one of the UK’s hidden gems” – Gold Flake Paint (again) iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/salvage-my-dream/
