"description": "\"poppige Singer-Songwriter-Tracks, umrahmt von orientalischen Klängen und verträumten Vintage-Flair im Stil alter Jazz-Standards.\"\n\nLina Noll, Tip Berlin\n\nBerlin based singer and songwriter Pina Berlin invites you to a universe of folk-rock sounds, induced by Anatolian, Latin, African rhythms with pop and jazz elements and heartfelt lyrics, exploring themes of human interaction and self-discovery through a fusion of self-critique and motivational perspectives. Pina co-produced and released seven singles with nominations, and her debut album with producer and multi-instrumentalist Fico Jessen. Bridging diverse backgrounds and musical genres, she infuses her music with empathy, positivity, and hope in a world of busyness and individualism. Pina's music is best experienced live with her band talented and busy jazz and rock musicians of Berlin, fiery improvisations, dance elements and an atmospheric stage design.\n\nBeginning her vocal journey with singing to MTV as a child, followed by a classical training and jazz and rock bands in Istanbul, she later studied with esteemed jazz musicians from Berlin, Istanbul, and Massachusetts, and plays saxophone and ukulele. Her unconventional path to music saw her initially disguised as an architecture student in Berlin, leading a double life until facing burnout and the onset of fibromyalgia, which prompted her to fully embrace her musical calling. Choosing music, never looking back, she collaborated with renowned musicians and performed in prestigious stages in Berlin and Istanbul.\n\nPina recently finished her album release tour with a music video release and is now working on recording new songs and expanding her artistic vision further by studying Music \u0026 Movement / Rhythmic at UdK with a major in Jazz Vocal to explore the ways to bring the musical and movement performances together in an experimental and improvisation based field. Pina Berlin is the ever-searching alter ego of the multi-faceted musician Pinar Tatlikazan, who was born in Bursa, raised in Istanbul, and has been living in Berlin since 2010.",
