On September 12, 2025, Christina Sangita will celebrate the release of her debut album Calling Ātman with a special live concert at the Michelberger Hotel Berlin. Accompanied by her six-piece band, the singer and musician will present a unique musical journey that brings traditional Indian mantras into a modern, atmospheric context.
The songs were created in close collaboration with producers Dave Stringer (Grammy-nominated, Los Angeles) and Ben Kreisel (Berlin), whose musical signature has had a decisive influence on the project. Eight pieces, deeply rooted in the mantra tradition and at the same time open to modern, cross-genre sounds, form the heart of this album.
Calling Ātman is more than a debut. It is a musical statement for intercultural dialogue, artistic freedom, and spiritual depth. The release concert offers an exclusive insight into a work that deliberately crosses boundaries, both sonically and culturally.

Christina Sangita is a singer, composer, and teacher of healing mantra music based in Berlin. After completing her classical vocal training in Germany, she lived in India, immersing herself in the tradition of sacred chants and studying Indian music in an authentic way. With her clear and deeply moving voice, she creates original compositions that bridge Western and Eastern musical traditions.
