Peer Pressure is a hardcore band from Quebec City, Canada. Formed in 2018 by a group of friends united by a passion for heavy music, the band quickly made their mark with the release of their debut single “Control.” That same year, their first EP Inside Out laid the foundation for the aggressive and unrelenting sound that defines them today.
In 2020, Peer Pressure released their first full-length album “Catharsis“ a record that blended hardcore, metal, and thrash while amplifying raw messages of struggle, mental illness, and the chaos of everyday life.
Fast forward to 2024, the band dropped their single “Ruins” along with a music video shot during their performance at “Festival d’été de Québec“. Just months later, they unveiled their highly anticipated second full-length album “This Hell on Earth Could Be“, a darker, more immersive dive into thrash with a demonic edge. Each track tells its own story, confronting both spoken and unspoken struggles, while the carefully crafted production behind this album was carefully planned to give the listeners a full experience into this “new world”.
