Christopher Wilkes a.k.a. STLNDRMS (pronounced stolen drums or stolen dreams if you are into that new aquarius type stuff) Is a Producer / DJ / Curator / Influencer / Generally cool guy from Atlanta GA
Chris has been creating music for well over a decade. He has done shows in several countries from battles in the park in Italy to basement cyphers in Tokyo. He has also had music licensed for video games and television. That said, STLNDRMS is a new brand and he is building it from scratch. Drawing from the visual cues of analog photography (also an avid photographer) and Japanese anime (an admitted addiction…) and the sounds of old soul jazz and funk (born in Detroit) he’s creating his own wave. A warm and authentic sound that is somewhat rare in todays popular music culture. His sound is lofi, raw and imperfect and thats exactly how he likes it.
