Matt Silliman, has been a legendary figure in Atlanta’s house music landscape for over two decades. Known as Starboy during the 90s and early 2000s, Matt’s warm, high-energy house music sets earned him residencies at iconic ATL venues such as Eleven50, Karma, Trinity, Vision, The Mark, and Compound. His influence extended beyond Atlanta, gracing top clubs nationwide, including Mansion in Miami, Club 13 and Twilo in NYC, The End Up in San Francisco, and Red Rocks in Colorado.
In 2022, Matt played a pivotal role in launching Captains of Revelry, an Atlanta event production company. Collaborating with house music legends such as Mark Farina, Doc Martin, Derek Carter, Miguel Migs, Louie Vega, and others, The Captains have thrown some of Atlanta’s most memorable events. Matt also helped bring the Captain’s flagship festival, Feelgood in the Park, to life. Additionally, he organizes and headlines a coveted event every spring called Beats on the Lake, a charity event featuring the Southeast’s most prominent DJs.
