However, everything changed when he listened to John Coltrane’s A Love Supreme—a transformative experience that ignited his passion for jazz.
Inspired by jazz greats such as Charlie Parker, Cannonball Adderley, Sonny Stitt, Miles Davis, Kenny Garrett, Grover Washington Jr., and The Bosman Twins, Dwan cultivated a signature sound that is both vivid and deeply expressive. In 2013, he showcased his adaptability and range with his album Sax Attack, followed by the 2015 single For Eternity—an evocative tribute to love and lifelong commitment.
