When We’re Dead (est.2025) are the 2020’s answer to the 90’s. Harkening back to the glory days of Nirvana, Oasis & Alice In Chains with a modern twist akin to Bring Me The Horizon, My Chemical Romance & The 1975, When We’re Dead takes the britpop, grunge nu-metal blueprints and covers them in 60’s psychadelia, 70’s glam and Y2K emo glitter. The brainchild of vocalist Oli Long and guitarist Liam Howard, WWD is a portal for one of the UK’s most promising upcoming songwriter collaborations. Long’s unique vocal style and eccentric stage presence is met with Howard’s maniacal riffs, all pinned down by bassist Nev Annings and drummer Tom Gelsthorpe’s meticulous and powerful playing styles.
