We Met In June is a breath of fresh air on the Norwegian music scene with it ́s dreamy blend of folk-pop and Amercana. The newcomers released their first single in April 2023 and have since then performed concerts all over the country, achieved several spots on the district list of Norway ́s largest radio staDon NRK P1, earned a spot in Talent Norway ́s presDgious iniDaDve “Pop Up” and won the award for «Breakthrough of the Year» at LuLprisen 2024. Their debutalbum «Loving Living» received excellent reviews, and already in the fall of 2025, the duo’s second album will be released.
The duo consists of the couple Sara Rose Zadig and Gjest Ingeson Kvåle, who, through different musical journeys, have created their own expression together. The music is both nostalgic and fresh, with clear references to legendary Fleetwood Mac, as well as modern country-pop giants like Kacey Musgraves and Taylor Swift.
