Wave Noir is an UK underground rap/hip-hop artist that likes to explain the inner workings of his mind through music - presenting his thoughts, feelings and experiences to listeners in his songs.
As an individual member of UK alternative rap group Anti.Net, Wave likes to be diverse and versatile with his sound. He often puts his heart on his sleeve when it comes to his music - never shying away from getting personal in his lyrics. His sound can vary from upbeat melodious tunes such as “Bonnie & Clyde”, to aggressive and energetic anthems such as “2 LOOSE THE PREQUEL!” This storytelling comes to life on stage, being able to switch from mosh pit inducing bangers to more introspective tracks on the fly, commanding the emotions of his audience.
Wave has previously been featured in Spotify’s Fresh Finds and Fresh Finds: Hip Hop playlists, as well as on Link Up TV. Alongside Anti.Net, he is currently part of the Horniman Museum’s Musicians in Residence programme.
