Who: Urine Hell
Alternative Noise Rock
Formed in 2019, Chicago metal band Urine Hell paints a sonic soundscape which encapsulates existential dread, paranoia, and self-loathing. Highlighted by vocalist Zach Lockwood’s panicked vocals and stage antics, the band’s music constantly shifts and churns; groove-heavy bass riffs accompanied by dissonant guitars and relentless drumming. They draw influences from bands like Godflesh, Meshuggah and Slint. The band is working on their first full-length.
