Founded in the dead of winter 2014, The Great Diversion dove in to writing, composing, recording and self-producing its debut EP which would be released one year later. The Rocks and Rapids EP was launched on February 10th 2015 and quickly began making waves online and on local radio. Since then, The Great Diversion has performed in the Ottawa region on a regular basis all while writing new material for its eventual full length release. The Great Diversion is a creative collective seeking nothing more than to be heard.
