From Copenhagen, Denmark, Sunset Detour ignites the pop-punk scene with catchy tunes and raw energy. Founded in 2023 by Thomas Kongshaug (Lead vocal), Christian “Haystack” Rasmussen (Lead guitar), Gabriel Tuxen (Bass & vocal), and Casper Hillstrøm (Drums), the band was born from an strong passion for pop-punk and hard rock music since childhood.
Their sound seamlessly blends classic pop-punk with a gritty edge of hard-rock, driven by Haystack’s electrifying guitar work. Sunset Detour’s music, characterised by lighthearted anthems and heartfelt ballads, resonates with authenticity and relatability.
Drawing inspiration from pop-punk icons like blink-182, All Time Low , Sum 41, and Green Day, as well as diverse genres from hard rock to country, Sunset Detour creates music that’s unique and inviting.
Sunset Detour was poised to make their mark on the pop-punk scene with the release of their debut single, “Chuck,” on May 17th, 2024.
