Solemn Vision was forged in the depths of Brooklyn, NYC, blending progressive and melodic death metal into a sound that is as dynamic as it is devastating. Since their critically-acclaimed self-titled debut album in 2019, the band has built a fearsome reputation for delivering high-energy, immersive live performances that balance masterful musicianship with commanding stage presence.
In October 2023, the band released their sophomore album, Despite The Rise Of The Sun, via Black Lion Records - a record praised for its intricate blend of heaviness and melody, pushing the boundaries of the genre. In 2025, they were the sole direct support for progressive/melodic death metal titans Be’lakor during their first-ever headlining North American tour, playing to sold-out audiences all around the United States and Canada.
Drawing influences from Scandinavia to the Middle East, the five-piece - led by Aaron Harris’s powerful vocals, the dual-guitar prowess of Mauricio Cornejo and Kadin Wisniewski, Anthony Rafferty’s dynamic bass, and the intuitive drumming of Carlos Crowcell - continues to evolve their signature sound. In addition to their 2025 tour with Be’lakor, over the years they have shared the stage with titans like Týr, Kataklysm, Omnium Gatherum, Swallow The Sun, Oceans Of Slumber, Arkona, and Blood Incantation, proving their place in the modern metal landscape.
