Rahul Jaluthria, widely known as Smoke, has built a strong presence in the Indian hip-hop scene, often referred to as the “Punchline King.” His writing style and delivery have earned him recognition and a growing following. Smoke has worked with notable artists in Indian hip-hop, including Sez on the Beat, Sikander Kahlon, Encore ABJ (from Seedhe Maut), Ahmer, and Harjas Harjaayi. In March 2022, Smoke released his debut album VENI VIDI VICI, which crossed a million streams across major platforms, despite not having significant playlist placements or blog features. This year, Smoke followed up with two key projects: his joint mixtape with Qaab titled BAGGAGE CLAIM and his solo release He Raps Like in March 2023, which received attention for its lyricism. Additionally, Smoke contributed a verse for a song featured in Jio Cinema’s hip-hop web series Khalbali Records. In December 2024, Smoke released an EP titled Khel-Kood, further showcasing his evolving artistry and cementing his place as one of the most versatile voices in the Indian hip-hop scene.
