Shan Ako is a British Singer, Songwriter, Actress and Author most recently known for starring in Grammy Award winning Musical Hamilton, playing leading lady role Eliza Hamilton. She is also known for being a finalist on final series of The X factor UK with her mentor Simon Cowell. She has continued to gain recognition for her soulful voice and original music, gaining awards, impressing judges and audiences around the world.
BRIT School Alumni Shan Ako has also pursued Music and Theatre, she notably starred as Eponine in the West End production and concert of Les Miserables.
Most recently broadening her horizons to Los Angeles, she released her latest EP ‘Landed’ available to download and stream. Shan is continuing to build her brand ‘The Shan Vibe’ after releasing her debut book highlighting mental health, faith and wellbeing.
