Sanctrum can be considered one of Uppsala’s most determined metal acts who has spoiled the world with their brutal music for several decades. In 2008 Sanctrum released their critically acclaimed debut album “In Harm’s Way”, the album ROT produced by Lawrence Mackrory (F.K.Ü, Darkane) and mixed by the legendary Danne Bergstrand (Dimmu Borgir, Behemoth) came in 2015 and was followed up by the EP “Walk With Vermin”(2018). In 2020, the single Beacon In The Light was released, which conveys both brutality and elegance. In June 2023, Sanctrum released the single Sageling and followed this up with a performance at the Sweden Rock Festival. According to Sweden Rock Magazine, Sanctrum plays a “hybrid between thrash and death metal crossed with hardcore and punk.” Sanctrum is a band whose live shows are a force of nature that leave you breathless and gasping for air while wanting more.
