Rob Wheeler’s No.1 country album “Leave Tomorrow” is a collaboration between one of the UK’s most respected artists & some of the leading names in Nashville. Heartache; existentialism; faith & family are all explored with warm observation & not too surprisingly it has been nominated for Album of the Year by the British Country Music Association.
Raised in the NW, Wheeler went from a life changing medical diagnosis to making critically acclaimed music, taking inspiration from both sides of the Atlantic; Hank Williams, The Beatles, Nick Drake, John Mayer & Eagles. Critics praised his independent debut & its follow up Ten Embers.
In late 2021 MidWinter Songs hit No.1 on the Folk Album chart, which led to a global deal with both Bucks Music (The Rolling Stones) & Absolute (Don McLean); & the formation of Fuj Records, a label aimed at developing Country & Folk singer-songwriters.
Leave Tomorrow became Wheeler’s second No.1 album, topping the country chart in June 2025. Featuring the radio favourite; “Why Whisky Why?”, the album hit the top spot ahead of superstars Morgan Wallen & Beyoncé, receiving critical acclaim from the music press.
As a respected recording artist, songwriter, producer & touring musician, he has collaborated with an array of artists including: John Paul White of The Civil Wars, Robbie McIntosh, Justin King, Steve Dorff, Daisy Chute, Jeff Trott, Adam Wright, Marla Cannon-Goodman, Mando Saenz, John Smith, Jeorgia Rose, Stella Lain & The Shires.
