Peasant is 21 year old east coaster Damien DeRose. Recording and writing in a 1 bedroom apartment, he likes to eat bagels and swim in creeks(freshwater only). Recently put out an album called ‘on the ground’ on paper garden records. That’s “on the ground”, as in “we’re on the ground, move in”, in military fashion, not the depressing conclusion you may have drawn(shame on you!).
