The original Patchwork Band was founded at the exact time that Chicago’s music hit the radio airwaves, playing all of the Chicago hits when they were cutting edge. Rock music with jazz style horns, fabulous harmonies and a killer guitar player set Chicago apart from anything else that was happening at that time.
Patchwork has had the pleasure of working with Danny Seraphine (original drummer and founding member of Chicago) on several occasions. To quote Danny: “These guys are REALLY GOOD!! If they weren’t, I wouldn’t be playing with them. My standards are too high for anything else.”
Our 9-piece ensemble will perform the exact arrangements of all the songs that you heard all those years ago, along with selections from Blood Sweat & Tears, Sly and the Family Stone, and much more.
