Moritz Simon Geist is a musician and performer who builds his own robotic instruments to play electronic music live. On stage, he’s surrounded by custom-made machines that hit drums, pluck strings, and create rhythms in real time. The result is a raw, physical sound that blends techno, ambient, and experimental vibes.
His debut album Robotic Electronic Music was the first techno record performed entirely by robots and was produced with Andi Thoma of Mouse on Mars. Moritz has played festivals like SXSW, Moogfest, MUTEK, and at venues including the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and the Philharmonie de Paris.
Every show is a mix of precise beats and unpredictable mechanical energy. It’s electronic music brought to life through moving parts, sound experiments, and a deep love for rhythm.
