LJ Parks is a Tasmanian troubadour with a powerful voice, dynamic guitar riffs and playfully wry lyrics. Her music combines elements of contemporary folk, outlaw country and alternative rock with roguish charm and whimsical irreverence.
She’s performed at many esteemed festivals across Australia, received the Cygnet Folk Festival Emerging Artist Award with her duo LJ and Lucy, was a finalist in the Gympie Music Muster Talent Search and is a nominee for Youth Artist of the Year in this year’s Australian Folk Music Awards.
