Radical vulnerability — that’s the core of Lila & The Fox’s music, a Vienna-based singer-songwriter from Austria. Recognizing that this has nothing to do with weakness, but rather creates a unique kind of strength. With a voice that gets under your skin she takes you on a journey to conversations among friends. It’s all about the small and big things, hopeless relationships, the restlessness of our times, and liberation from a perfectionism that traps creative hearts. The songs are merely fragments of life and at the same time snapshots of a multi-layered emotional world between velvet green and pastel pink. Sometimes courageous, sometimes thoughtful, but always authentic and unpretentious. Lila & The Fox sounds airy and yet creates waves that reach deeper layers. Her sound is characterized by warm pads, acoustic guitars, and moody drums. Lila & The Fox is the solo project of Elisabeth Laa, with which she is now pursuing her own musical path alongside her indie pop band LOU PA.
