Julian Hartwell is a sought-after pianist, composer, producer & songwriter based in Philadelphia, PA. Over much of the last 20 years, Julian has played nearly every genre of music including 7 years leading his original jazz/funk group, the Julian Hartwell Project. He’s performed his original work from NYC to Charleston and across Europe and Latin America, and steadily released music over the same time span. His latest album, “Halcyon Listening Room”, a collaboration with sound healer Evolvlove, is his epic debut into the realm of meditative sound journeys. Julian just released a solo piano EP as well entitled “Soul Sojourn” - a completely free piano improvisation in three movements.
