2024 is the year of a new sound for Jack Jarryd. In March, the uptempo guitartrack Still Love was released. The track gained massive traction on the radio by achieving ‘Topsong’ on Radio 2, ‘Smulschijf’ on Radio 538, #1 position in ‘De Verrukkelijke 15’, high placements in ‘De Verlanglijst’ & ‘100%NL Top 20’ and add it was added to the playlist of Radio 1, 2 & 3. The Country pop duet ‘Heavy’, a collaboration with Voice-winner Sophia, is the next step in this new direction. It’s a promising step, because Heavy was also elected as TopSong on NPO Radio 2 and is currently on its way to conquer national radio.
In 2021 Jack Jarryd made his debut with the EP ‘Evolve’ and singles ‘Living It Up’, ‘Heartache’ and in 2022 ‘Open Fire’, which gained major support on Radio Veronica as ‘Oorkonde’. His second EP ‘Fatal Love’ dropped in October 2023. The single ‘Hot Stuff’, featured on the record, reached the #1 position for several weeks on ‘De Verrukkelijke 15’ chart at Radio 2. Jack played ‘Hot Stuff’ live on the morning show of Radio 2. Furthermore, the song was track of the week at Radio 5 and gained airplay on 3fm. The touching ballad ‘Done With It’ followed and was performed during Jack’s live television debut in the talkshow “Tijd Voor Max”. Jack’s music was used in several TV shows, such as Temptation Island, The Masked Singer, B&B Vol Liefde and Voor Hetzelfde Geld. For the past years, Jack did several live performances on Radio Veronica, 3FM, Qmusic, Radio 2 and Radio 538, but also played over 50 shows on stage.
After supports for ‘Saint Motel’, ‘Floor Jansen’, ‘Jaap Reesema’, ‘Blaudzun’, and several festival shows, the singer went on a tour of twenty-four sold-out shows supporting The Dirty Daddies. Jack just finished his first own club tour of 6 cities across the country. His next tour is planned for this fall. Armed with his stunning voice and band, Jack Jarryd puts on a spectacular old-fashioned live show, which moves between fresh Pop and lively Rock, characterized by epic solos and pumping 80’s synths. During performances, Jack strives to achieve ultimate interaction with the audience through his sincere vulnerability that’s contrasted with rousing Rock ‘n Roll.
