Artist: Frank Mighty

Who: Frank Mighty

Rock

Frank Mighty is a Syrian-Canadian artist from Calgary whose sound blends anthemic indie rock with cinematic, 80s-inspired textures. Drawing comparisons to artists like The War on Drugs, his guitar-driven songs are sewn with soaring melodies and a sense of motion — the soundtrack to every backcountry adventure and road trip.

Described by Wonderland Magazine as “somewhere between Passion Pit and MGMT,” Frank’s debut EP Whispersongs (2021) earned critical acclaim, featuring mixes by Grammy Award-winner Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, James Bay, Of Monsters and Men) and placements in Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia (70 million viewers).

His 2023 EP Never Homesick, produced by Frans Mernick (Foster the People, A$AP Rocky), reflects his travels through the Canadian Rockies and Pacific Northwest, exploring themes of home and belonging. The single “Unattainable” surpassed 265,000 streams and led to performances at Tall Pines, Aurorapalooza, and sold-out headline shows in Toronto and Calgary.

Frank’s 2024 EP Nexterday, featuring singles “CAKE” and “Say We’re Alright,” earned Spotify and Apple Music editorial playlisting, Exclaim! coverage, and an opening slot for Quinn XCII at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall. The project also received radio play on X92.9 Calgary and Indie88 Toronto, alongside heavy rotation on SiriusXM’s The Verge and Poplandia.

Now gearing up to tour his debut album Shoulder Season — arriving April 2026 — Frank Mighty delivers a powerful, guitar-driven live show with a full band that’s bound to feel right at home in any festival’s sunset slot.
