Artist: Fabrice Aboulker

Who: Fabrice Aboulker

Fabrice Aboulker is a French composer who has been working for over thirty years across music, stage, and screen. He first rose to prominence in the 1980s alongside Marc Lavoine (Elle a les yeux revolver, Qu’est-ce que t’es belle), establishing himself through his sensitive and narrative-driven writing. His career has led him to compose numerous scores for film and television, earning recognition at the Annecy Festival (Ma maman est en Amérique…) and the La Rochelle Festival (Box 27). He also collaborated with Pascal Stive on the original soundtrack for the TF1 series Je te promets, while exploring a more intimate direction with his instrumental album Je me souviendrai de vous. In 2020, he returned to the stage with Les Souliers Rouges, a musical tale co-written with Marc Lavoine, and again in 2025 with Juliette & Roméo, a contemporary ballet where his neo-classical, electronically infused music serves as both a narrative force and a mirror to the emotions expressed through dance.
