Eva Kiss: the soul of grunge from West Yorkshire.
Backed by a 3-piece band, Eva’s stage presence is bold and unapologetic: captivating every crowd with her socially critical lyrics and spiky alternative grunge soundscapes. The queer artist’s narrative-driven songwriting poetically drives her message for LGBTQ+ rights and gender equality. Sonically, she and her band echo the gritty sounds of Nirvana, Queens Of The Stone Age, and Fiona Apple. “…A charming mix of the sass and strong vocals of the likes of Patti Smith, Chrissy Hynde and the style of PJ Harvey,” Eva Kiss is a rising star whose natural gift for songwriting and religious upbringing set her apart in the Northern music scene. Her music is not just heard but felt, leaving an Eva-shaped mark on all who experience it.
After her debut EP release in October 2024, she attracted over 3K new listeners from across the UK and around the world after being featured on multiple new-grunge playlists on Spotify. In 2025, she became a Recipient of Youth Music’s Next Gen Project Grant which will support Eva’s upcoming 2026 projects. This year she has sold out multiple headline shows, and supported incredible upcoming artists Hyphen, The Haunt, Dirty Blonde, as well as performing at festivals across Yorkshire. Eva’s upcoming single “Oh, My God” is set for release in November 2025, and will prepare her audience for a new wave of socially critical, hard hitting grunge rock belters in 2026. Following her new releases, Eva hopes to land further international recognition and media coverage to connect to a wider audience with her musical identity and fight for change.
