Edward Granshaw is an indie/alt singer-songwriter rooted in Bristol’s vibrant music scene, known for delivering raw, high-energy performances where connection with the crowd is as important as the music itself. His journey began in Weybridge, where volunteering with young adults with autism and social learning challenges showed him the power of music to break down barriers. While completing a Neuroscience degree at the University of Bristol, Edward turned his attention fully to music, building a reputation as a dynamic frontman with a distinctive live sound that expands on his digital recordings, creating a unique auditory and visual experience.
His live career has grown rapidly, with festival appearances including a 10,000-strong crowd at Winestock, sold-out shows in Bristol at The Exchange and Jam Jar and a London headline slot at The Notting Hill Arts Club. Edward’s music tells stories of longing, frustration and hope, delivered with an emotional transparency that resonates deeply with listeners.
Beyond the stage, his growing online presence has seen him reach almost 12,000 TikTok followers in just six months, drawing fans from across the UK to his gigs. With airplay and an interview on BBC Surrey and BBC Music Introducing already under his belt amongst other UK-based radio stations such as Future Hits Radio, 2026 will see Edward release his debut EP and embark on his first UK tour.
