Dominique Way is a singer-songwriter based in Toronto. Reminiscent of early 2000s pop singer-songwriters, Dominique is a breath of fresh air in the current Canadian pop music landscape. Released this fall, her debut EP ‘Sprig’ was co-written and co-produced by the Grammy-nominated, Harper Gordon. The artist says of her first project : Sprig is the sprout of my developing and ever-growing musical journey. It’s also the nickname my mom has been calling me since I was little, so it felt like the perfect title for my first body of work. When people listen to ‘Sprig’, I hope they recognize a familiarity and are welcomed into the music with open arms.’ Gaining over a million streams within the first five months, the release has earned her spots on playlists like Spotify’s Fresh Finds Global, All New Indie, Oyster, and Indie Update, as well as prominent Apple Music playlists like New Music Daily, in my room and Alt Pop.
Released on May 23 2025, Sprig B-Sides is a collection of tracks that remain closely connected to the first half of Sprig, but with a more subtle, intimate feel. Building on the essence of her debut EP, Dominique created a comforting space for listeners to connect with their own emotions, free from judgment or pressure—a place to sit with those feelings, just as she did during the creation of the project.
