Formed in 1987, Coffin Break helped shape Seattle’s underground punk and grunge movement, sharing stages with seminal acts including NOFX, Bad Religion, GWAR, The Melvins, Social Distortion, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Mudhoney, The Offspring, L7, and Primus. Their fierce blend of punk, metal, and melodic hooks made them standouts of the pre-grunge era, with releases on both C/Z Records and Epitaph Records, before disbanding in 1993 and later reuniting in 2007.
Now, the classic lineup returns with Peter Litwin (vocals/guitar), Rob Skinner (vocals/bass), David Brooks (drums), and Todd Ohashi (guitar), from Seattle bands RC5 and Acid Teeth.
