Artist: Coco Lamarr

Who: Coco Lamarr

Jazz Blues

Coco Lamarr is an Orange County-based chanteuse charming folks young and old up and down the Pacific Coast. Citing 1940’s torch singers and technicolor movie-musicals as her inspiration, she combines elements of Old Hollywood glamour with unbelievable powerhouse vocals to create a one-woman cabaret in which she croons, wails, and growls some of the most beloved Jazz, Blues, and Soul standards with a voice likened to legendary contraltos Amy Winehouse and Etta James. Lamarr has performed at events and venues throughout California from Laguna Beach to Sacramento to Shenandoah Valley all the way to Minneapolis, Minnesota; and shared stages with burlesque royalty like Audrey Deluxe, Medianoche, Dahlia Dulce, and Kitten ‘n Lou. As of 2019, Coco has become the resident singer in a number of weekly and monthly lineups including Santa Ana’s MUSE Burlesque Show at The Copper Door and Tosca Rivola’s acclaimed “TARANTINA" an all-female Quentin Tarantino tribute cabaret at Club Bahia in Echo Park, and she is the longest-running resident performer at the award-winning 25 Degrees in neighboring Huntington Beach, CA since 2017.
