Chris is a singer, performer, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, producer and refined stage animal. His concerts are a trip through songs and improvisation, acoustic and electronic, depending on energy, sound system and crowd. He has a truly kaleidoscopic attitude to music, that eventually led him to write and perform for his projects (Hot Dust, Mood Filter, Dirty Soul, Capsicum Tree) and for other artists, performers, commercials, fashion films and movies. He toured with italian popstars Malika Ayane, Cesare Cremonini and Eros Ramazzotti (2015/16 ”Perfetto" World Tour). In 2022 he released the album “Gods in the womb" under the name Hot Dust. The album, also available on vinyl, is the outcome of his electronic experimentation in song format.
He played keys/samples/electronics and recorded vocoder/guitar by Matteo di Gioia on “Venice has sunk” by Destrage.
In 2023, he produced “Boubacar” Chris Costa Savanalandia rework for Savana Funk, aired by Alex Paletta/Extra on Radio Capital.
“Signs” Chris Costa Remix, from “Signs” by Tomasz Bura & Rouhangeze (U.K.) was released in the U.K.
Another treat was the analog stem mixing for “Áther Rehtá” by Fugazza and “Selecta 002”, Ep by Suorcristona. He’s currently touring with Maria De Val in Germany and ready to release new music from his hybrid studio in Milan.
