Hailing from Newnan, Georgia, Charles Gilbert is an accomplished guitarist, songwriter, and producer currently based out of Perry, Georgia. Charles plays many genres including blues, bluegrass, country, modern jazz, and rock. Charles has had the opportunity to work with and open for a wide array of national artists and bands. In 2010, Charles was signed to his first recording contract under Global Maximus Records with his former band Badhorse. In 2012, “It’s All Good”, co-written by Charles, was featured during the NFL Alumni Awards. The next year, several songs Charles co-wrote and arranged while with Badhorse were included on the soundtrack for the feature film Brother’s Keeper. Later that same year, the song “Game Face” co-written by Charles was featured on the Vince Lombardi Awards. This year, Charles is looking forward to the slated release of the cartoon Groupeez, which he wrote, recorded, and produced the theme song for.
