Ceycey, the 20-year-old German-American artist and producer blends Hip-Hop, Neo-Soul and Alternative R&B with Jazz elements, offering a mesmerizing sonic experience. Originally from Germany, she honed her craft amidst influences of Jazz, Latin, and Classical music. At 16, she made the bold move to Memphis, Tennessee to pursue her music career. Now based in Mannheim, Ceycey is poised to make her first mark with her debut album, “May I Introduce”.
On August 2nd, newcomer Ceycey released her debut album, “May I Introduce” at only 19 years old. A blend of Hip-Hop, RnB, Jazz, and Rock, the album offers a unique mix of sounds and emotions, exploring social issues, as well as inner conflicts, emotional struggles and navigating relationships. The track “Kiss and Tell” features a standout collaboration with bassist MonoNeon, adding depth to Ceycey’s already diverse sound. Co-produced with Hannes Pries, “May I Introduce” highlights Ceycey’s vocal talent, production, and songwriting skills. Inspired by her multicultural background and personal experiences, her music carries a raw, authentic vibe. This debut marks the start of what looks to be an exciting career for Ceycey.
