The new album not only marks another milestone in the band’s career, but also revives the Indian themes first presented on “Soul Temptation” (2003) with two single tracks. With songs such as the fan favorite “Shiva’s Tears”, the band set memorable standards back then that still resonate today. “Plague Of Rats” combines BRAINSTORM’s distinct trademark - powerful riffs, rousing melodies and gripping choruses - with modern influences and a fresh aggression. “Plague Of Rats” was produced by Seeb Levermann (Orden Ogan, Angus McSix), who helped the band to capture the raw energy of their live performances in the studio. The album cover was designed by Gyula Havanczák, who was responsible for the artwork on previous BRAINSTORM releases.
