Andrea Vettoretti brings a fresh perspective to the classical guitar, giving it a new voice and a contemporary dimension. Through his music, he turns the instrument into a captivating and modern means of expression. Graduating with the highest honors from the conservatory, Andrea continued his studies at the prestigious Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris under Alberto Ponce, earning the “Diplôme Supérieur de Execution” and the “Diplôme Supérieur de Concertiste,” the highest recognition awarded by the Normale in Paris.
Winner of numerous international music competitions, Andrea has performed in some of the most renowned venues worldwide, such as the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, Salle Cortot in Paris, Teatro la Fenice in Venice, and Palau de la Música in Valencia, as well as in Rome, Berlin, Dublin, Mexico City, Miami, and Sydney.
His music is available on major digital platforms like iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube. With CNI Music, he has released several acclaimed albums. Among his most recent works, Rain draws inspiration from the rain and explores themes of nature and sustainability. His ability to blend the depth of classical music with a contemporary vision has garnered widespread appreciation. Wonderful, warm, and innovative are just a few words critics have used to describe his work.
His latest project, Quantum One, is a concept album dedicated to the universe. Here, the sounds of the cosmos merge with the music of the guitar, creating a message of hope and awareness for humanity. With the collaboration of actress Sabrina Impacciatore and Grammy Award winner Will Ackerman, Quantum One promotes the sustainability of the planet and the brotherhood of humanity. The album features a special tribute to Carl Sagan, sharing his vision of a united world.
Andrea’s next project, Il Respiro dell’Acqua (The Breath of Water), will be released in late 2025. This work explores water in all its forms, from rivers and oceans to rain and its symbolic meanings. It aims to raise awareness of the vitality and beauty of water as an essential element for our existence. For this project, Andrea is also an ambassador for the Global Network of Water Museums, an initiative supported by Faro-Unesco.
Andrea plays guitars by luthiers Matthias Dammann and Enzo Guido and uses Savarez Cantiga strings.
