Who: Absolute Treat
Absolute Treat (FKA Dilettante) is a Toronto-based pop group blending disco, rock, and R&B into a dynamic, danceable sound. Led by queer artists Natalie Panacci (vocals) and Julia Wittmann (vocals; guitar), the band crafts shimmering, groove-heavy anthems that recall the best of ‘70s and ‘80s pop while staying fresh and modern. Their debut album Dilettante released in 2022, with earworm singles “Bonnie” and “Donna” becoming anthems for the Toronto pop scene. Since then, the group has opened for acclaimed Canadian artists including The Darcys, Jaguar Sun, and Born Ruffians. Absolute Treat’s upcoming EP Shattered Love, coming out via Victory Pool on May 14th, 2025, channels the spirit of Prince, Kate Bush, and Janelle Monáe, with tight songwriting, lush harmonies, and an irresistible rhythm section.
