Martina Consonni is acclaimed for her poetic sensitivity, musical insight, and brilliant technique. After debuting at 10 with the Bacau Philharmonic, she has performed in leading venues such as the Berlin Philharmonie, Wigmore Hall, Elbphilharmonie, Tonhalle Zürich, and Teatro alla Scala. A guest at major festivals like Klavier Festival Ruhr, Kronberg, and MiTo, she excels both as soloist and chamber musician. She has collaborated with Gautier Capuçon, Steven Isserlis, and Tabea Zimmermann, and played with orchestras such as the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich. Winner of over 55 competitions, she has received the Daniele Gay Prize and the Roscini-Padalino Award. A laureate of the Fondation Gautier Capuçon, she was selected for Sir András Schiff’s Building Bridges and the Classeek Ambassador Programme. Her recordings (Warner Classics, Movimento Classical) have received critical acclaim. Born in Como, she studied with Pace, Vardi, and Schiff.
