On December 27, Lorrèn will give a special concert in the intimate setting of De Roode Bioscoop. For this occasion, the Amsterdam-based singer and songwriter will perform completely solo, accompanying herself alternately on guitar and piano, supported by her loop station. During the evening, she will invite a few special guests to join her on stage , among them her father, a jazz violinist and scat vocalist, who will accompany her on several songs for this unique performance.
Lorrèn captivates with the rawness, warmth, and versatility of her voice. Her music can best be described as soulful pop, with her jazz background shining through just as clearly as in artists like Amy Winehouse, Lianne La Havas, or Olivia Dean.
In 2024, her album Sunkissed was released, produced by Jasper Zuidervaart (Chef’Special, Jeangu Macrooy, Kris Berry). It’s a sunny, soulful record full of warmth, freedom, and feel-good grooves , like the glow on your skin after a day in the sun
