Joanne Bird is a Dutch singersongwriter: she creates indie & americana folk music with a touch of jazz. Drawing inspiration from artists such as First Aid Kit, James Taylor and Brandi Carlile, she takes her audience on a personal and musical journey.
Shortly after finishing the Master of Music at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, Joanne traveled through all the big music cities of the United States for five months to write music, record and perform. Along the way, she met established musicians from Nashville, New York, Boston & New Jersey, with whom she since then toured the Netherlands and the United States, and recorded her second and third EP with.
Since the release of the music video of her song Angel, Joanne’s endorsed by Martin Guitar. The last few months, Joanne has had the opportunity to open for artists like Steph Strings, Billy Walton Band and Jana Mila.
