Op het menu staan verrassende covers en breekbare popsongs in een heerlijk strijkersjasje. Melodieuze popmuziek Maria Mena brak als tiener door in haar thuisland Noorwegen. In de rest van Europa werd ze bekend in 2006 met de single Just Hold Me. Vooral in Nederland is haar breekbare, melodieuze popmuziek populair. Met All This Time (Pick-Me-Up Song) bereikte ze de top tien. In 2023 bracht ze haar achtste studioalbum And Then Came You uit: een plaat vol meeslepende popsongs over het hervinden van vertrouwen in de liefde. Grote steun Maria Mena heeft al vele malen opgetreden in TivoliVredenburg – een vertrouwde venue voor de Noorse popster die zich gelukkig prijst met een internationale carrière. In haar songs reflecteert ze ook over minder gelukkige tijden in haar leven, bijvoorbeeld toen ze anorexia had. Voor veel fans vormen haar liedjes een grote steun.
